What Is SmartPay Express (SPE)?

SPE is an intuitive, easy-to-learn payment product that allows you to provide a customized payment site for each of your merchants who accept payments and donations from their customers. Customers have the ability to make one-time payments or register payment information with the site and have additional payment features, such as recurring payments, reporting and other payment options.

Open A Sweep Account

Sweep accounts are available to West Shore Bank’s business checking customers. SPE offers the standard ACH and credit card payment, as well as PayPal®. PayPal® offers merchants and customers the option of using a PayPal® account to complete payments with SPE. Both merchants and customers will need a PayPal® account. For more information on how a merchant can create a PayPal® account, please call (855) 477-5689 or click here.
You may have the ability to configure payment options for your merchant, such as making some payment fields visible or required, branding the site, and providing account location information.
 
You can access the SPE Admin utility through JHA SmartPay Manager™. The SPE Admin is where branding and permissions for SPE sites reside. Alternatively, you can pass on the ability to brand the SPE site to your merchant, where they can access SPE Admin via JHA SmartPay Business™.
You can grant your merchants access to the SPE Admin feature, which allows them to brand their own SPE site directly and configure permissions and other features for customers making payments and donations. Still available to your merchants is the ability to view customer information, payment information, and various reporting tools in SmartPay Business™.
You may board a new merchant through Riskforce and follow the standard process to set them up.
Once the merchant's branding has been finalized in SPE Admin, the URL will automatically be generated and will appear at the top of the SPE Admin branding page. The SPE Admin will then need to copy the URL and provide it to the merchant for them to share with end-users.
